Founder, Inspire New HomesA professional dedicated to the affordable housing sector, Asha Agarwal has 20 years’ experience in the sector, working at some of the UK’s most prominent housing associations and organisations – from L&Q to Savills. Asha has helped over 1,000 first-time buyers onto the housing ladder throughout her career.
Asha is now applying her years of experience to running her own award winning consultancy, Inspire New Homes, which supports smaller housing associations and local authorities in transforming their sales and marketing strategies. Asha helps organisations to maximise profits and implement best practices, enabling them to reinvest in the cross-subsidy of affordable home delivery.
A champion of BAME communities and women, ultimately, it’s social purpose and commitment to helping people onto the housing ladder that drives Asha.

Intermediary Relationship Director, Pepper Money UKRob Barnard has over 30 years of knowledge and experience navigating successfully through the twists and turns of the UK Mortgage market. Rob has developed and executed sales and marketing strategies throughout his career to drive growth and maximise retention. In his role as Director of Intermediary Relationships, Rob is responsible for nurturing and developing key broker and distribution partners for Pepper Money.
Rob is passionate about mortgages but more importantly the people he works with within the industry. As a result, he is the host of The Specialist Podcast. A platform created to provide established and upcoming stars in the industry an opportunity to discuss everything mortgages and beyond.

Throughout her career working across the intermediary sector, Stephanie has been a passionate promoter of the need for, and value of, advice. Outside of work Stephanie’s other passion is anything Disney, always in the process of planning her next theme park trip – with a detailed spreadsheet to match.
Aisha Cuthbert
Director of Strategy and Public Affairs, RiversideAisha has worked in the social housing sector for over a decade in a variety of different marketing, communications and public policy roles. Currently, Aisha is the Director of Strategy and Communications at Riverside, one of the largest housing associations in the UK. Aisha was previously a councillor and cabinet member for the environment on a London council and she was also a former Parliamentary candidate. She was also the Chair of the NHF’s National Communications and Influencing Group between 2020 and 2024, which helps the NHF produce and refine key sector messages for the public, customers, and politicians.

Miranda Foster
Head of Programmes and Products, Homes EnglandMiranda is the Head of the Technical Hub team at Homes England. The Technical Hub is responsible for grant funding programme development and management. The team acts as the guardian for grant investment, leading on the stewardship, governance and operational control framework for delivery. The team also leads on strategic business and programme planning working closely with Government stakeholders to develop new products and funding initiatives. Previously she worked for a housing association looking after the sales and post sales teams, and prior to this her career was in banking.

With close to 20 years in the sector, Shahi has extensive experience in housing working in roles covering policy, strategy and programmes. Prior to the Agency he worked at the Greater London Authority working in the housing investments and policy team.

With a property development career spanning more than three decades across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, he brings a wealth of housing experience. He’s also worked for companies including Taylor Wimpey, CityWest Homes, The John Lewis Partnership and SPAR.

Khuram has recently been appointed as the Sales and New Homes Marketing Director at Anchor, specialising in OPSO and housing for the over 55’s.

Shared Owner, New ArchAyo was living in an L&Q Property in 2019 when she joined L&Q as a Homeownership Customer Service Advisor. She was keen to get on the property ladder, but unfortunately the property did not qualify under the Right to Acquire nor Right to Buy Scheme. Ayo then purchased her shared ownership property in 2020 from Golding Homes but following a recent strategic disposal the property is now managed by Southern housing and the new landlord is New Arch. In 2022, Ayo started her current role as Resident Support Lead, Ayo will bring her personal experience of affordable housing and the staircasing process to the panel.

Karen Suddes
Senior Home Ownership Officer, OrwellKaren has worked at Orwell leading the sales team since 2008. They deliver homes across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and part of Cambridgeshire.
Their team manages both shared ownership and open market sales with our shared ownership homes mostly in rural areas of Suffolk.
Although their numbers are not as high as a lot of providers, there are just two in their team and they deal with all aspects of sales, resales, staircasing and right to acquire.
Karen’s drive is customer service and always looking for ways to improve their customer experience.

His previous roles include Assistant Director of Finance at the Peabody Trust, and Director of Finance & Resources at Tree Aid (an African development charity). He is a board member of PlaceShapers (a national family of placed based social housing organisations), and a member of the Cornwall Strategic Housing Group and the National Housing Federation’s Sustainability Strategy Group.
