Aisha was previously a councillor and cabinet member for the environment on a London council and she was also a former Parliamentary candidate. She was also the Chair of the NHF’s National Communications and Influencing Group between 2020 and 2024, which helps the NHF produce and refine key sector messages for the public, customers, and politicians.

She was keen to get on the property ladder, but unfortunately the property did not qualify under the Right to Acquire nor Right to Buy Scheme. Ayo then purchased her shared ownership property in 2020 from Golding Homes but following a recent strategic disposal the property is now managed by Southern housing and the new landlord is New Arch. In 2022, Ayo started her current role as Resident Support Lead, Ayo will bring her personal experience of affordable housing and the staircasing process to the panel.

Their team manages both shared ownership and open market sales with our shared ownership homes mostly in rural areas of Suffolk.

Although their numbers are not as high as a lot of providers, there are just two in their team and they deal with all aspects of sales, resales, staircasing and right to acquire.
