Adam Gravely
Policy Officer, National Housing Federation

Adam leads the NHF’s policy work on shared ownership and accessible housing, and supports policy development across new housing supply and sector finances. He joined the NHF in 2024. Prior to this, he was a Graduate Trainee and later a People & Purpose Strategist at the John Lewis Partnership, owner of John Lewis and Waitrose. Adam is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Warwick and a Master’s in Business and Management from De Montfort University. Adam grew up in social housing and has lived experience as an involved resident and as a young carer.

Amy Nettleton
Assistant Development Director of Sales and Marketing, Aster Group

Amy's been with Aster as Head of Sales since January 2010. When not pushing for sales completions and immersed in anything property related with her fabulous team she pretends she's an equestrian star with her 16'2 Irish Draught, Prince, attempts to train for events such as the Great North Run, and enjoy as much time in Cornwall as possible.

Kelly McCabe
Managing Director, The Mortgage People

Kelly founded TMP The Mortgage People in 2005 and has overseen the brokerage’s sustained growth to become one of the UK’s leading Shared Ownership specialists. The company employs over 45 people (and counting) and helps thousands of customers each year to secure the places that become their homes. TMP is well known for its ‘amazingly helpful’ way of working and prides itself on collaborating with many of the biggest (and smallest) lenders in the market, as well as some 70+ Housing Association partners. Kelly’s commitment to delivering outstanding service and her investment in looking after her team and customers makes her a regular speaker at industry events. Kelly and her team also create and share comprehensive data reports, market updates and articles within the industry, and are responsible for Mortgage Ready, a unique app that allows prospective homeowners to calculate when they will be able to take their first step on the property ladder. In addition, she founded and runs a national event called Tea & Affordable Housing, which encourages closer links between Housing Associations and lenders.

Rob Barnard
Intermediary Relationship Director, Pepper Money UK

Rob Barnard has over 30 years of knowledge and experience navigating successfully through the twists and turns of the UK Mortgage market. Rob has developed and executed sales and marketing strategies throughout his career to drive growth and maximise retention. In his role as Director of Intermediary Relationships, Rob is responsible for nurturing and developing key broker and distribution partners for Pepper Money.

Rob is passionate about mortgages but more importantly the people he works with within the industry. As a result, he is the host of The Specialist Podcast. A platform created to provide established and upcoming stars in the industry an opportunity to discuss everything mortgages and beyond.

Steph Ramsden
Director of Acquisitions, Sales and Partnerships, Housing 21

Steph is the Director of Acquisitions, Sales, and Partnerships at Housing 21. Housing 21 is a leading not-for-profit provider of Retirement Living and Extra Care. They provide safe, quality and affordable properties for older people. Steph oversees the National Sales team, achieving an average of 200 new home sales and resales annually across both Retirement Living and Extra Care sectors. Housing 21 has expanded by over 3,300 units through strategic acquisitions from other housing providers in recent years. Steph brings extensive experience in social housing, regeneration, financial, and legal services. Outside of work, she is also dedicated to her family, with two children and two dogs.

Nick Byrne
Executive Director - Development, Citizen

Nick Byrne is Citizen Housing’s Executive Director of Development and also holds Non-Executive Director positions on MSV Housing’s board and Audit and Risk Committee.  Nick has worked in affordable housing development for over 30 years.

Stuart Hensby
Sales and Marketing Director, Abri

Stuart leads the sales and marketing of Abri’s new homes pipeline, as well as overseeing re-sales and staircasing across a range of home ownership tenures, including shared ownership and open market sale. With extensive experience in the new homes industry across the south of England and London, Stuart combines strong market insight with a commitment to developing sales strategies that make the buying experience clear, supportive and customer led. Passionate about placing customers at the centre of every decision, he champions a service focused approach that supports buyers at every stage of their home ownership journey.

Terri Browning
Sales & Letting Manager, English Rural

Terri Browning joined English Rural in 2017 as a part-time Services Assistant, becoming full-time later that year. She was appointed Sales & Lettings Manager in 2021. Terri previously worked in childcare and teaching for eight years. In her current role, she oversees the sales and lettings processes for English Rural’s properties, ensuring smooth transactions and positive experiences for new residents. Terri is responsible for managing property viewings, processing applications, and coordinating the allocation of homes to eligible residents.

Patrick Merton-Jones
External Affairs Manager, National Housing Federation

Patrick is the NHF's External Affairs Manager for the South East, working with members in the region across a range of issues. He also leads on the NHF's rural housing work.
